Relaxation techniques

There are a few ideas given her for you to try, not everyone reacts to the same things in the same way so it’s always useful to try each one and practise with the technique, which best suits you. By trying each technique you become more familiar with the benefits of how breathing plays an important key to help relax your mind and body. Breathing properly involves Breathing in through the nose, this is important as the nose has a filter system which filters the air entering our lungs. In our nose the first filter system is the hair, this traps particles of dust and sneaky insects, further in, the nose has a passage with mucus lining it, this traps finer dust particles and warms the air. Next in line are the glands, which fight off even finer dust particles, this is also where our sense of smell warn our brain of any harmful gases. The technique of breathing through the nose not only works on the filter basis but also help to slow the amount of oxygen taken into the lungs, warm filtered air is far better for relaxing with than a cold rush with chocking insects thrown in for good measure.

Allow your mind to traval along the serene path of your inner peace and harmony. For sleep deprivation and relaxation. If you suffer with sleep deprivation then try this technique, it has been tried many times by myself and works a treat. For this to work properly, make sure you are in your bed and comfortable. You will soon fall sound asleep. Waking up feeling fully refreshed and energised. Try to regulate your breathing, so that it is slow and steady. In through the nose, deep into the pit of your stomach. Imagine if you can a safe place where only you have access to, how you reach there is entirely your choice. It can be an Island you have created that you alone have knowledge of and only you can reach it. A personal favourite of mine is an Island in the middle of the Bermuda triangle and I reach it via a speedboat, a very large steel wall surrounds the island, so there is no safer place. The only way in is with a remote control to open the gates as I approach. This is just an idea to give you an example. When you have chosen a safe place for you, treat it as your very own, look around, make it secure enough that no one will ever invade your safe surroundings, give it a waterfall if you want, give it a cave, or trees, give it a name, what ever you want it to be, then let it be yours. Imagine your self-feeling the warmth of the sun and of the warm breeze, the cool of the water, imagine the sounds, just immerse yourself in the moment feel the safety embrace your subconscious mind. Walk around, find out what there is to explore, if you can’t find anything, put it there, make it happen, its your safe place. If you have a question you want an answer to, imagine you have a chest hidden somewhere in your safe place, see your self reaching the location where it is hidden, you reach the chest, open it with or with out a key (with or with out magic) the choice is yours, it’s your place. Place your question inside, close the lid and just leave it there. You probably won’t have an answer instantly but you will eventually. Keep your breathing regulated, make your surroundings as safe, relaxing, or as interesting as you want it to be. Lose your self, allow your self to fall into a comfortable, sound sleep. You are safe.
